Working in collaboration with the CEO, and Creative Director to product and direct all aesthetic assets for Suitsupply and Suistudio. Leading a team of 9 designers and copywriter. 

 

Senior Digital Designer & Design Lead, Suitsupply, Amsterdam HQ, March 2015 - December 2017.

Responsible for development and implementation of ideas and designs for the creative output of the Suitsupply brand and associated brands. Leading a team of 7 designers.

From digital design and innovation, to sales driven campaigns and art directing new business ventures.
Currently managing the creative design team, providing leadership, inspiration, guidance, support and direction. Leading a team of designers including UX, UI, Print and Digital to continuously challenge ourselves to deliver high performing, beautiful designs and an excellent user experience.

Visionary responsibilities

  • Responsible for the over all visual style of the Suitsupply menswear brand - this include online and offline, ecommerce, marketing designs and diverse projects such as mens grooming, innovation projects and women’s wear.
  • Conceptualising ideas, message for campaigns and creating exciting highly polished visuals.
  • Bridging the relationship between the Product owners and the designers to weigh all up all the contributions into a design. 
  • Working directly with development to implement designs, and ensure high aesthetic quality.
  • Maintaining a balance of variety and consistency in weekly campaigns
  • Writing copy for campaigns
  • Visual designing the larger projects working with UX/UI

Hiring new designers and training of junior designers: Identified the needed skill sets to build a brilliant design team, hired them and created training opportunities and collaboration projects to encourage cross training. 

  

Creative Designer, JAMJAM Marketing, Amsterdam, January 2015 - March 2015

Responsible for conceptualisation, design and development of all client projects. Clients include Reebok, Adidas, Noosa, Bjorn Borg and Spacelife. 

 

Senior Designer, Mexx Europe, Amsterdam HQ, October 2014  - January 2015.

Responsible for conceptualisation, creation and development of all digital, print and in-store assets. 

Working closely with the Creative Director to develop the vision, style and design of the SS15 campaigns and a denim product push. 

Collaborating across teams and channels to ensure the campaign and company vision are translated into online, email, print and across 150 stores. 

Led two junior designers to develop the creative request process for our internal marketing team, redesign the contact strategy creative assets for the email marketing team. I also managed the daily tasks list to ensure all projects are delivered on time and on budget. 

 

Multimedia Designer and Digital Producer, University of Liverpool Online, Amsterdam HQ, April 2011 - October 2014. 

Responsible for the design and production of multimedia projects, from the conception of ideas to presenting the final product. This covered online and offline design, video and photography. 

Owner and Producer for video strategy, budget & projects - Created and executed a video strategy for the University of Liverpool Online marketing team. This strategy was rolled out across multiple channels and medias. In practice the strategy has a very positive impact on the Universities social media sites. In one campaign, over a series of 30 posts, there was a total reach of: 2734808, total engagements of: 86291, 6592 likes and 479 shares – peaking our engagement rate at 13%. Increasing the audience retention from 30% to 70%. 

Brand Development - translating the brand messaging through to multiple media.

Communicating design, film concepts and rationals clearly to stake holders and clients.

Managing external vendors -  developing strong relationships and working closely with videographers, photographers and printers.

 

Freelance Designer, Faith, Hope and Patience BV, Amsterdam HQ, November 2010 - April 2011    

Successfully managed and coordinated graphic design projects from concept through completion.

Coordinated consultants, vendors and clients to meet all project requirements and deadlines.

Provide creative vision and concept design for model recruitment, including signage, booklets and brochures.

Credited with delivering robust, focused design concept promoting model referral program. 

 

Freelance Designer, Prestige Horse Boxes, Liverpool, United Kingdom, May 2010 - November 2010

Designed a variety of print collateral and assisted on numerous design based projects.

Developedbrand awareness campaigns to promote the brand at high end horse shows.
